What is the Master Mason Degree?
The Master Mason degree completes the foundational teachings of Freemasonry, offering profound lessons on the nature of life, mortality, and the legacy we leave behind. Rich in symbolism and tradition, this degree challenges each member to reflect deeply on their character, their purpose, and their service to others.
The Experience
The ceremony of raising to the degree of Master Mason is one of the most significant and memorable moments in a Freemason’s journey. Through this ritual, candidates encounter allegories and symbols that have inspired generations. It marks the transition from learning and preparation to a position of maturity, responsibility, and stewardship within the Craft.

As a Master Mason, you enjoy the full rights and privileges of Craft Freemasonry. You are encouraged to take an active role in the Lodge, supporting new members, participating in ceremonies, and contributing to the life and work of the fraternity. It is also an opportunity to explore further Masonic orders and deepen your engagement in Freemasonry.
Although the Master Mason degree completes the core journey of the Craft, it is by no means the end of your Masonic development.
